Chainring Massacre
The Chainring Massacre returns in 2026. It is a gravel bike race in the Manitoba Parklands. It starts and finishes in Rapid City, Manitoba, just 30 kms north of Brandon. Our courses will take you into the Little Saskatchewan River Valley so that you can enjoy the scenery, gravel and climbs, with 40, 80 & 130 km routes.

About
There are 3 courses that make up the 2026 Chainring Massacre - 130, 80 & 40 km.

The 40 km course is intended to be an introduction to both gravel. New to gravel? This is the perfect opportunity to try it out! Don't want to race, but would rather just ride? Get a bunch of friends and ride it at "Party Pace" and enjoy the scenery!

The 80 km course builds on the 40 km course, adding more climbs and increasing the difficulty.

The 130 km course builds on the 80 course, adding more climbs and increasing the difficulty *and distance).

Whichever distance you choose, come out and join in the fun!

This event is intended to be a party on 2 wheels.

What better location for a start/finish line than a lake, with a beach, and some barbecues cooking up some burgers and smokies?
