About
For the Piston Popper, fat bikers will race across Lake Winnipeg. They will start at the Viking Statue in Gimli, race across Lake Winnipeg to Grand Beach, report in to Check Point and then return to Gimli. There will be no marked course!

The full course will be around 60-66 kms. There's a possibility of adding a shorter, 30 km course that will have a turn around point in the middle of Lake Winnipeg. (Please do not turn left at Albuquerque).

This event will be timed to coincide with Global Fat Viking and give fat bikers the opportunity to compete in a unique event.

Perhaps this will even become a Fat Bike Festival with all sorts of things happening over the weekend...

Details will be provided as they are confirmed.
